I think that this song is the ideal representation of new love. As the title states "No More Runnin", I can assume that means that Avey is so in love he has stopped his search for love as he has found love. It reads "Friends I once had Turn their thoughts away from me" meaning often times in relationships you focus more on your girlfriend/ boyfriend than you do to your friends or family. He means that since he has put his friends aside for his loves benefit, his friends no longer want anything to do with him. He states his loves kisses are too fine, and that he no longer wants to run around looking for love. He finally found it. This relationship is what Avey was looking and hoped for. (Whoa-oh) |
