When I first heard this song, I was barely able to keep a roof over my head. I had no car, so I often had to walk 12 total miles to from my 8-hour on-your-feet-all-day job. It was the second hardest point in my life. The first verse hit me so hard. I listened to it over and over everyday. The first verse was taped to my inbox at work. Last year I went through something even worse, and the song was still there for me. |
