This song was actually written about Louis' and Liam's relationship struggles while away on tour (In the first verse they are talking about being on stage and imaging their girlfriends in the crowd). Then they are talking about how they only get so little time to actually see Eleanor and Danielle when they're away, but not to worry because they're coming back soon. If you think about it, this interpretation fits perfectly. |

You know how they say you get cold feet before your wedding? Well that's what I think the lyrics mean in the beginning of this song. A guy was just about to get married, but he got second thoughts about it and just walked away (Everything I had till my feet went numb). He tried to find love again that was just as great as what he had before, but nothing came close (I've been everywhere and back trying to replace everything that I had...). Then he met this special girl, and now he can apparently "feel again", meaning he loves this girl just as much as, or even more than, who he walked out on. OR He found the same girl that he walked out on and fell in love again (It's been a long time coming since I've seen your face). Because he uses the words "again" and "since", I feel that he has met this girl before. This is just MY interpretation of this song, feel free to disagree :) |
