This song brings back memories of when I moved to my current high school. It brought up memories of when I was cutting myself and I was so down I looked like an emo skeleton. This song represents my inner turmoil... I hate my boyfriend for certain aspects of his personality, yet he is the type you can easily love... He makes cutting remarks that resembles emotional abuse and yet he can't grip the fact that he makes me feel like I have no talent and that I can't escape my Hell... I feel like crap when he makes these comments and it makes me angry when he slaps me for saying that I have no talent when he makes me feel like that in the first place... I hate him, yet I love him at the same time.... He doesn't realize that he's becoming the one person he hates most; his own abusive father...

This song reminds me of the hidden pain (that not even my boyfriend knows about) that I feel when he talks about his ex or when I feel so insecure about myself. I cry everytime I listen to this song because it brings my mind back down to the grim reality that I'm so self absorbed in. I try to smile an act brave in front of him but become so weak and suicidal when I'm by myself.

I think that the song has an encryptic message that I can personally relate to.... Trevor may have gave us the explaination behind the lyrics, but my personal interpretation is that something major has happened, and you can tell that a war is going on and something is about to change for the better or the worse. Hence the fact that he said that it was a warning and like it or not, it will change. Words are weapons and that it will change the war with your psyche. The whole point of the song is to say that you're warring with everything that is happening and you're at a breaking point... A lil food for thought.
