I think this song is about falling in love with someone who you have been an acquaintance with for quite a while and perhaps you did not have positive feelings towards this person originally but everything changes suddenly. The sudden feelings you have towards this person are so strong and sure that you can't believe you didn't see it before. Such a beautiful song. |

I think the song is about someone who has spent their whole life being afraid of commitment and who enjoys being free but who is now considering the fact that they may actually be falling for someone. They are reasoning with themselves about what they should do about it because it is different to how they have ever felt before and they have known this even from an early stage in the relationship. |

I think the song is about two people who have waited a long time to see eachother (perhaps their relationship must be kept a secret for whatever reason) and finally get to spend the night alone. They want to hold on to eachother and the moment for as long as they can before it all just becomes a memory. They know that when they part they will be back to square one and will have to go through the wait all over again before they can be back in eachother's arms. |
