Holy Diver is just another name for Holy Roller so this song is addressing those Holy Rollers who think Dio is the devil and anti christ. |

Cohen is comparing human frailty to King David not knowing how to compose a song to the Lord. David stumbled. so does Cohen in the midst of a woman but he praises her anyway and in the end. King David praises the Lord "there's a blaze of light in every word, it doesn't matter what ya heard the holy or the broken hallelujah." It just means life is great no matter what. |

I think the song is about terrorism because of the line "self righteous suicide" and
"I cry when angels deserve to die" is about how innocent people are killed in suicide terrorism attacks. |

It reminds me of something out of 1984.
I think it's about a man with a mental illness who hears voices in his head and is going crazy. |

| Gorillaz – Feel Good Inc. Lyrics

The tower in the video, the Feel Good Inc tower is a hypodermic needle and these characters are rotting away inside of it trapped wanting to be rescued. One of them is free floating in a lovely sky on a little island with a windmill turning and in the song, you can hear what is supposed to be the windmill, especially during the bridge where there seems to be more than one turning at different speeds. This is what the song is about. At the end, the helicopters which represent our heartless, big brother, destructive and intrusive culture persecutes the island with the windmill about to snuff out the one bastion of freedom and goodness left. The song is about rot, basically. Look at the guy inside the needle. He is imprisoned and rotting. He is also deformed and withering. |
