This song is haunting, hypnotic, strange, sensible, original, powerful, enigmatic, sad, relaxing, addictive, mysterious, beautiful, relatable, stunning... the more i listen to it, the more it touches my heart. The transition from minor to Major chord between each verse and the chorus is amazing. And the lyrics ..... the voice......... "Darling, When did we fall ? When was it over ?" What a masterpiece! |

No lyrics yet? No comments? How come? Nevermind, awesome song, rediscovered it after 15 years since i last listened to it. Now i look at the video and i find it... it gives me goosebumps. I can relate to it so differently as i did when i was a kid. This is not just another "cool rap song" to listen in your car with volume at maximum. It a really sad, deep, emotional song with a powerful message. |

It's a dialogue between Pink and her mentor, Linda Perry. It's about how Linda helped her to put her thoughts on paper, to sing about what she feels. I like it at the end when the questions still are asked, without Pink answering. It's like the questions are aimed to us, listeners. Do i even know what i am? ...? A rising dream or a fallen star? ...? Is life good to me or is it bad? ...? Not really sure what my answers are... But i like Pink's answers, as she goes from not knowing to finding herself. It's like she helps us to find our own answers, by sharing her thoughts. |

This line, in my opinion, can be either - she asks her dad if he knows that. - he tells her dad, to let him know. First, i also thought it was a question. But, the more i listen to the song, it sounds to me that she is actually telling him: "Remember that!" |
