Basically, it's talking about a relationship, where they just aren't meant for each other anymore. Maybe one of them thought of the other one as 'the perfect one for them' but he's been wrong about him/her. "...But I've been burned and I've been wrong so many times..." It's a breakup song. It's such a great song! It makes my jump every time I hear him go, "Ooh!" It's so full of energy. |
