For me the the song is about two people that just can't manage to stay separated though they know they aren't ment to be. each one lives his/her own life mainly without the other - trying every now an then to pull the other back to be together again. both of them are afraid to live on knowing the other one is really done with their weird relationship. They are really pissed though they can't let go theirself and maybe even more pissed for the other one checking back ever and ever again. Each one struggles hard because they nearly hate themselves for still needing, wanting or maybe loving the other, and hate the other for not letting go and same time they forgive themselves and the other for still needing one another but not letting it happen for they understand that they once had their chance but didn't take it. (Holding the hand that holds me down - I forgive you, forget you, the end) and (Come back down, save yourself. I'can't find my way to you. - I'm with you, forever, the end.) SAD |
