| This song reminds me of sexual fluidity, or like romantic fluidity at least. When I first heard it I thought about two lovers, and one of them is dominant, the one who is planning what they're doing, even if it's just laying there, sleeping, on acid. When he says "i'll pretend you were the only one" i feel like he's saying that he has had these same happy and romantic moments with others, but it doesn't diminish the greatness or antiquity of them. like, you can be with a lot of other people, and love a lot of people, and the moments you share with them can be exactly the same, but completely distinctive because of the various emotions that specific person may make you feel. | |
