I believe the song is about religion, is obious, but refers to two different persons and different situation, i think the he talks to God, because of the christian mission, but at the same time he want to make her feel right, in peace with the war, telling her about Gods and Jesus' promises, I'm not sure but he might be at war, he may be a recruit soldier...remember Civil Twilight |
