He knows that his song will reach many people's ears and will touch many people's hearts if they actually listen to the words. He's telling them that they don't have to feel alone that they don't have to feel like they have to "bleed" so to speak, die. They don't have to hurt. Even though, I don't really think, he really meant to be any knid of "Saviour" he has become one to some people because of his songs. "But remember I am human" -- he's telling people that he is still just a regular person at the same time too. All through the song he's telling people they're not alone, they don't have to be afraid, that he "hear[s their] cries". |
