I love these lyrics! It reminds me of my situation. For years I was an alcoholic and unfortunately you don't feel valued because of your weaknesses.... but I was only drinking to forget the pain I had inside from past abusive relationships. I once met someone who for me represented God, not just someone who said they were Christians (they're plenty of them)! Through this person, I felt of God's real love for me, and that he understood what I was going through and why I was drinking... if that makes sense? Anyway, this song means a lot to me. |

I agree with Goldrain, I don't see how this song is offensive? Many of us have or have had doubts about God's existence and blame or have blamed him for the bad. I'm a Christian and I can understand how others feel. |
