| Your first paragraph is a little confusing. I came to this website to see if anyone thought what I thought about the lyrics to "American Capitalist". I think that they are saying something else during the chorus. To me it sounds like there is a word missing, but I've been to every lyric site and they all say the same thing from ALL lyric data sites, so maybe not. At the end of the chorus it sounds like he's saying "I don't wanna regret who I've become when I am _____ " it sounds like he's saying something & if you think about it saying "I don't wanna regret who I've become (when I) I'm an American Capitalist" doesn't really make sense. Because he is already clearly saying that he IS an American Capitalist. Right? I think the word might br belong or gone. I don't know... maybe, maybe not. And I think "Under and over it is about him being over the fame, like his 15 minutes were fun, but now he's had enough... | |
