Not only that but the last verse it would make sense it was talking about people looking for her from the north to the south, but my brain has a resistance to thinking that because then it would be a truly horrible song but then again it also fits. |

The lawmen arrive doesn't sound like a marriage to me though. If it's a wedding then then the pastor or priest or whatever arrive and if it's a courthouse wedding you go to them. At the end of the drive the lawmen arrive: I don't know what it means but it doesn't sound positive to me. |
