That's interesting. And I heartily agree that the character is truly absorbed into the sadistic joy of telling the "Big Shot" exactly what kind of evening they'd had. |

| Possibly both. Often times poetry reflects duel meanings. | |

I agree with Stepout on many points, however there are instances where the 'rich' have abused the 'poor', or their money to benefit themselves, and yes--even dodge drafts. America, as much as I love it ,is unfortunately not perfect. America is the greatest country in the world. And addressing Pentin's response, wanting our troops to live is not anti-America, if anything it's pro-American. It's simple to me. Wars happen because bad people will always start them, and it's up to the good people, in this instance Americans to end those wars, and the only way to end a war is to fight it. I do believe though that the Vietnam war was a poorly fought war on our part, but it was deemed a necessary war, so our troops fought it. The war on terror. The reason we fight overseas is so that 'bad' men, in this case terrorists will be defeated there. I terrorist WILL terrorize. If we do not fight them there, they WILL fight us here. So it's our choice stand up for what you believe, and maybe even die to protect your loved ones. Or abandon your loved ones to death, and lay down to die. War is a terrible thing, but it will always exist because there will ALWAYS be 'bad' people to start them, and it's good peoples' duty to combat them in order to protect those we love. |

| This is indeed one of the more beautiful songs ever; both in verse and in instrumentation. | |
| Queen – Hammer To Fall Lyrics | 13 years ago |
| My own opinion is very much like Garfield's; he makes some good points that I never thought much into. | |

| My own opinion is so near this that it doesn't make sense to point out the minute disparities. | |
