@[Bloodtox:20919] This song is about a fallen Canadian soldier, likely from Afghanistan. When the fallen return to Canada they land in Trenton Ontario, and are taken 100 miles or so down Highway 401 to Toronto where the coroner is. They are taken by hearse, and when they do they are given an honor guard. It is quite common to have police and firemen line the overpasses in honor of the fallen solider (hence the line "People above with their flags flying low.").
That stretch of highway from Trenton to Toronto is called the Highway Of Heroes. |
