I always thought this song was about his brother or someone who he felt was like a brother to him. "Suits were made for men, not boys" expresses the feeling that this person is too young to die, and he "holds my brother's hand, and I'm his mother's stand in" means he was there for him when his mother wasn't or couldn't be there. But, I'm confused by the part that says there's blood around her and that he needs her. Maybe this woman and this brother or friend were both shot? |
