alt-J – Breezeblocks Lyrics 10 years ago
@[Gabinlove:5143] Adding on to what you said, since Where The Wild Things Go's line is a big deal in this song and the fact that its a children's book, maybe the cinder blocks he is holding her down with is the child she is impregnated with? Germaline disinfect the scene, I think she might have had an abortion and she's trying to cover up the fact that she did it.

The Limousines – Dancing at Her Funeral Lyrics 10 years ago
I think this song is about the paramedic who found the girl.
The first verse is the paramedic reporting the scene. A girl wrecked her car into a pole. The song on the radio was someone else's favorite song, not hers.
The second verse is the ambulance ride back to the hospital, she is asking him to let her die at her home, not the hospital. Because the last verse says "sending out invitations to her friends 'back' home" I don't think she is asking him to take her to wherever she currently lives, but her home town. Something the paramedic can't do even if he wanted to.
Then the bridge says 'and we'll be dancing at her funeral' I'm not sure if this means that the girl would rather them be happy than sad or that he is saying it sarcastically as in 'no one would be happy' .
The last verse takes us through funeral prepping. Everyone is doing their part in putting it together.
I think the chorus is the paramedic saying that nobody knows what he has gone through, maybe in this case or throughout his entire career.
The song makes it feel like he is a stranger to the girl who had this accident, yet he went to her funeral leaving me to believe that he was the paramedic who she died on and he feels guilty for not being able to save her.

I think this song may be about him leaving to become famous and when he returns home people treat him differently than before he was famous.

I kinda think this is the response to the first song on the album (Shepard of Fire)

The Neighbourhood – Sweater Weather Lyrics 12 years ago
I take this song very literally. To me it is about an actual sweater. A few years ago I lost my own sweater. Winter hasn't been the same since. I am always cold, and coats don't do the trick. Now I can only go to the beach during the summer, because its to cold in the winter. I haven't shoot a sad beach video for Instagram because of this.

Shinedown – 45 Lyrics 12 years ago
Alright I think this song is about ZOMBIES ok well a zombie killer

Send away for a priceless gift (He has put $750 in the mystery box)
One not subtle, one not on the list (He is hoping for a 45, a gun not normally distributed)
Send away for a perfect world ( he wants to make this world perfect by killing all zombies)
One not simply, so absurd (Let's face it, zombies are absurd)
In these times of doing what you're told (The government is telling everyone what to do)
Keep these feelings, no one knows (the zombie killer doesn't hate zombies)
What ever happened to the young man's heart? (The zombie apocalypse has corrupted the young man's heart)
Swallowed by pain, as he slowly fell apart (He turned into a zombie)

[Chorus:]
And I'm staring down the barrel of a 45, (One of his old fellow zombie killers is about to kill him with his old gun)
Swimming through the ashes of another life (he ate the man's brains and is now seeing his memories)
No real reason to accept the way things have changed (he can't accept that he is a zombie)
Staring down the barrel of a 45 (repeat)

Send a message to the unborn child (idk)
Keep your eyes open for a while ( watch your back cause zombies are everywhere)
In a box high up on the shelf, left for you, no one else (there is a box on a shelf)
There's a piece of a puzzle known as life ( the ray gun)
Wrapped in guilt, sealed up tight ( ray gun)

What ever happened to the young man's heart? ( question)
Swallowed by pain, as he slowly fell apart (answer: zombie)

[Chorus]

Everyone's pointing their fingers ( no one likes the zombie)
Always condemning me ( they wanna shoot him )
And nobody knows what I believe ( no one asks for his opinion)
I believe!

[Chorus]

now this is just my opinion. I love Black Ops 2. THE END......

Breaking Benjamin – The Diary of Jane Lyrics 13 years ago
This song is clearly about a guy who is very depressed because he found his girlfriends diary and his name was not in it. There were a lot of other names in it but his wasn't and its making him sick. He tries his best but his best isn't enough but you will never break benjamin-zuk

The Lumineers – Ho Hey Lyrics 13 years ago
I sincerely think this song is about a hobo who lost his girlfriend to a rich fella. And to get back at her he calls her ho hey. Now don't get me wrong this is a great song but theres a very dark, vile, and naughty nature about this song. Even if the hobo doesn't like his ex girlfriend he didn't have to go and write a song about her. I think this song could also be about an alien who just didn't fit in.

Imagine Dragons – Radioactive Lyrics 13 years ago
I think this song is so about zombies. Picture this its the end of the world he is getting ready to fight all the zombies in his way. He thinks its kinda like a revolution. So he's waking up and noticing its the end of the world and he is taking steroids to get himself buffed up to fight all the zombies. Henceforth he's radioactive. He is slowly becoming a zombie himself but doesn't want his fellow humans to know. So he is the leader of this "revolution" and he is preparing to kill zombies. Like the great Rictofen once said, " A WAL A NAH WAL! " - Kill a lot of zombies. This song reminds me of the Zombie World character Tallahasse. So, I think this song depicts the end of the world and the zombie takeover. Its the apocalypse. And he is welcoming you to the new age and the fact that the zombies have taken over. Well, that's my interpretation or of course it could've had something to do with the Mayan calender, but don't get me started ther. ;p
