| Guess what!!! He's back in!! And Jerry Roush was filling in for Austin while he was out of commission from the multiple heart surgeries he had. | |

I'm going to take a guess and say this is about his ex-fiance right after everything blew up. That he still has faith that they can mend their relationship and start it anew. The chorus is simply Austin telling her to at least meet everything he's given, and that even though he may be over doing it, it's all genuine. The last line, man, he's saying that even though everything that happened happened, he is still right there with her trying to make it work and move past it. "I'm still here, this is faithfulness at its finest." |

I'm pretty sure this is about Shaley's battle with depression. That being in the band was helping him and giving him a sort of high like the song says. But it never is enough to pull him out completely. "This is the way I wanted to live But you know that I was scared of the world Praying it all would go away" That he'd always wanted to be a rock star or something along those lines, and he was scared about how it would work out for him with him battling depression. And he just wanted it all to leave him. I honestly believe Shaley wrote this. I wish I knew for sure. |
