For me this song is about how people can't see a boy and a girl as close friends. It's like, if you are a boy/girl and have a close/best friend of the opposite gender, they think you two are going out or at least that one of you likes the other romantically. In the music, a girl and a boy were separated because of what other people thought of their friendship. |
