To me, this whole song seems to be some sort of persuasion to a girl. Basically, this guy has had a past relationship and didn't end well. Because of this, he's cautious about falling in love again. Then he meets, or falls in love with, a girl and it seems like throughout the song he's telling her how he's learnt from his mistakes, ("I'm out of touch, I'm out of love I'll pick you up when you're getting down And out of all these things I've done I think I love you better now I'm out of sight, I'm out of mind I'll do it all for you in time And out of all these things I've done I think I love you better now") and that if she does agree to be with him, he'll try his best not to repeat them. When he says "I'm gonna pick up the pieces and build a lego house, if things go wrong we can knock it down", it's almost as if he's saying I'm going to start anew, and if things go wrong, I'm willing to start again because I really do love her. Atleast, that's what I think :) |

| I think this song is basically the conclusion to the album; how after all coming all this way through all these stories in the album, they finally decide to take it back to where they came from, hence the title “No Place like Home”. The ending promises other stories to come, but for now, they’re going to take it back to where they came from. | |
