| I totally agree with your interpretation of the song. Especially because Shirley Manson, in her song "shut your mouth" at one point says "You need a family, a baby, a piece of security...", and hereby tells the world that she's fed up with what ppl think and how they think she should live. I know it might be out of context, but I think Shirley has struggled with the whole idea of being expected to live a certain way of life. That would at least give sense with the fact that her life isn't what she thought it would be, as you wrote. | |
