This song rocks so hard.
As to the meaning of the song; If i had to guess and if you use the music video for the song to interpret; it's definitely about adults trying to prevent kids from rocking the fuck out. In the video kids are at some Fu Manchu show and they're breaking shit and headbanging and whatever. One kid brings home a record and his dad flips out and is like yelling in his face about it. Later there is a meeting held by some cop with the parents clapping along to the cop is smashing records and ranting about shit. As the cop is breaking a fender strat the kids are moving in on the building they lock the adults in the building and proceed to melt their faces with an impromptu concert in the parking lot of the place much to the parents' dismay. The cops come and arrest the band, and the kids are totally pumped up. |

Oh trust me i've noticed it. different key and it's a little bit different throughout but it's essentially the same riff. This is almost unavoidable these days so i don't blame him too much, he's a great musician and is a great guitarist. Helena is a better song if you ask me though, i'm a punk kinda guy for life |
