| First of all, I love the song because it is upbeat, happy and positive. I like to take components of the song and build my own idea about the song. The message I get from this song is that you don't have to the best to enjoy life. I, influenced by society, have this concept that in order to be happy you have to reach things like being the smartest, or being rich, etc but you don't. You are an allstar either way and you don't need these things to necessarily be happy. Also another theme is experiment more and don't be afraid of change and what other people think of you | |

Although this is a great song about drinking, I like to think about the song in a different way. I like to think about this song as a song about being resilient and not giving up. It reminds me that you have to understand that being knocked down is a part of life (something I sometimes struggle with). Also I love the "we'll be singing, when we're winning" part because it tells you to stay confident and believe in yourself. When you do succeed be proud of yourself. I get knocked down, but I get up again You are never gonna keep me down |
