It's just a way for us women to get over a man easier. This is really easy to understand, but hard to describe in text. It's about a breakup that hurt her emotionally. She wants to be able to move on, but she's having a hard time doing so because she keeps thinking about all the good things he did. And so the good things he did pisses her off, because it's keeping her from forgetting him and moving on. Hence the "I hate you for...(all the good things you did that keep me wanting you back)" in the first part. What makes it easier for us to say "screw you" and be able to move on, is focusing on the bad things a guy did or that we think he did, and getting pissed off about it. So in the second part, she loves him for all the crap she feels he did to her in the end, all the pain and suffering she feels the breakup has caused her, because it fuels her anger, which gives her strength to move on. |
