Always thought this was an amazing song with great riffs and awesome lyrics. But today with this awful shooting in Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, these lyrics are more true and relevant than ever. The words in this song depict what happened in real life so well that it looks as if James were telling Adam Lanza's story 16 years ago. And the part where he writes: "Now we all know why the children called him Ronnie frown When he pulled that gun from his pocket They all fall down, down and down" is particularly scary given the current situation we're hearing about on the news. It sends shivers to my spine. Incredible tune by the boys, as usual. |
