The last bit of the song seems to be about something much more personal than the rest of the song. I don't think the meteor refers to something specific, it's just meant to be something/someone that arrived and couldn't be ignored. He thought he was "fucking outta here" and then someone showed up. He hears a woman singing to someone that it sounds like he didn't want back, and he "comes undone." Maybe this song is also about being reunited (or someone else being reunited) with someone in his own life that he didn't want back? |

Lots of lyrics sites have a transcription of the clip in the beginning: http://www.plyrics.com/lyrics/propagandhi/unscriptedmoment.html I spent a couple minutes googling "Feiburg father" to see what might come up, and while listening to the song, I realized the name is actually "Freiburg" The clip is most definitely a young boy named Freiburg being reunited with his father after the Holocaust, and with that info in mind, some googling turned up the answer. http://yiddishradioproject.org/exhibits/reunion/ If you google Siegbert Freiburg, there's lots of info on him. |
