Lou Reed – Dirty Blvd. Lyrics 10 years ago
Absolutely. It seems to come out of nowhere and is so sonically different from the rest of the song. Though it doesn't last long, this cry for hope ends the song so perfectly. It's almost a plea and vow to escape - to "fly away".

The Smiths – How Soon Is Now? Lyrics 10 years ago
Absolutely. The use of the term "vulgar" in this song does not refer to obscenity or poor taste but commonality. The narrator's self esteem suffers and he deems himself unexceptional and easily ignored.

Hole – Miss World Lyrics 11 years ago
I hear that line the same way as well. I also hear it as her addressing the pills as friends and asking them to essentially put her out of her misery and make her "forever" by ending her life.
