| Aerosmith – Rats In The Cellar Lyrics | 12 years ago |
| i love the duality in the second verse. the first couple of lines, he is talking about complaining. He remembers every dumb move, he's pulled at parties, but the he get's rats in the cellar (drugs of course) then hes "feelin' cosy". By the way, I am pretty sure, the last line goes: soon my body will be pushin' up the daisies. makes more sense too. :) | |

| He means, that he got around the block a couple of times. He had the cheerleader, after that he f***ed her sister and her cousin. Awesome! :) | |

| This just seems... Kind of pointless. Something about a prophet walking through the fire, coming down from the mountains through the woods, to bring his words to the "citys and shires". I don't see a message in here. But then again, a lot of the Deep purple stuff don't make any sense either... Anyone? | |

| I think maybe this song is about, that he met a man/woman, who can really speak. Really say something in a world of people saying nothing. Met a man to turn it all around. A prophet kind of thing? That if you have something to give, you have an obligation to give it. | |

I agree with an earlier comment. i think La Cienega is a prostitute. a young one. maybe too young. he never got her real name, so he named her after the street, where she was standing. oh, the night here it comes again. it's on with the jeans etc. he is in love with her, but he knows, he can't have her, so he sleeps all day and drinks all night. "either way i'm dead" means that if he will never get her, he will die from sorrow, and if he takes her (i think she loves him too) her pimp will come after her and our dear narrator. Thoughts? |
