| I think the song is basically about doing something that soon is extremely regretted, and they feel as if they guilt and the 'sin is choking' them. Closing in and making it harder for them to live with themselves. And they are waiting for the penalty to end and are pleading 'Don't let go Savior', basically saying they don't want God to leave them and that they need him to save them from death. So all in all, my interpretation of the song is a cry for help and a cry for forgiveness. | |
