| Papa Roach – Take Me Lyrics | 12 years ago |
| I am like 90% sure this is about asking God to save him, cuz none of his friends can help him and this is a last call to God. The turning point is in the bridge when he realizes that hes not the only one who feels like this. | |
| Demon Hunter – Fading Away Lyrics | 13 years ago |
| "red" could refer to the devil, giving air to the devil. the vessel could be the singer's faith, and how breaking that would feed the devil | |

I this song is very sad. It brings tears to my eyes and gives me a feeling that no other Red song gives me. It is really different from thier other songs because it harbors a different kind of sadness in the first half of the song. It's more of a numbing depression, and the second half is powerful, it just hits you with the strings and it explodes from there. My interpretation is that the first half the song is about how a person will go to people when they are feeling hopeless and no matter how hard they try to reach out for help, no one does. "You watched me while I slowly disappeared I reached for you to save me; you were frozen in your fear" The second verse was a little confusing but it still seems to be trying to reach out for someone that's not there. "I'm breaking; I can't do this on my own Can you hear me screaming out, am I all alone?" This lyric points out the lowpoint of this song. One last plea, to anyone who even bothers to listen. The singer is begging for someone to help him, he is broken and he doesn't want to be alone. And then you hear the strings, the change just gives me chills. The person that interevenes has to be God, he "Takes Away" the pain just to save the singer in time. I liked how they used the chorus in this song. At first it sounds like a desperate plea but then it conveys such a different message that is filled with hope. This is one of the best songs by Red but it is so under-rated! rock on! |

| Red – Glass House Lyrics | 13 years ago |
| This whole album appears to be about the state of mankind. Red albums have a habit of of centering each one around a certain concept. "End of Silence" was about searching and finding God once you've lost everything. "Innocence and Instinct" was about the war within us and proving your innocence. "Until We Have Faces" was about finding your identity. Release the Panic was hard to decipher, but it appears to be about the fragile state of mankind itself. And how people are spiraling toward self-destruction. This song is practically the epitome of that idea. God is the only one who can break though the lies that have been fed to us through the media and politics. Glass house is about god saving us. | |

| Red – Take It All Away Lyrics | 13 years ago |
| this song gives me chills...such a creepy but amazing song. | |
| Red – Buried Beneath Lyrics | 13 years ago |
| I think this song kinda fits in the theme of the whole album, of having a "mass facelesness". This song is about being "buried beneath" the darkness of the world, and in that metaphorical suffocation, you ask for god to pull you out. and just saying, those first lines are amazing "My Eyes have adjusted to dark, and so has my heart" <3 | |
| Red – Let It Burn Lyrics | 13 years ago |
| this is why red is an amazing christian band, im not even religuous but this song makes me cry...unlike most christian bands that "praise" god and his wonders, this song questions them. like its pure genious, this song is like the final plead to god before everything dies, same thing with breathe into me. long live RED! | |
| Red – Death Of Me Lyrics | 13 years ago |

i think this song can be put in three different ways: 1. this song is about addiction, and not just drugs or sex, but emotional addiction, like thinking that the person who you depend on to be happy, is also the one who is killing you on the inside. This person pulls the life right out of you, and you still believe that they are your salvation, but this song is about realizing that they will destroy if you let it happen, and its about letting go whats hurting you. 2. From a religous point of view this song is about the endless struggle between god and the devil, im not religuous but this song is about listning to god and to stop feeding the desires of evil, which youve given everything but its still never enough. 3. Alike to #2, this song can also be about the battle within yourselves, and how you may feed into your own desires but it will still never be enough to make you happy. you think these desires will heal you but all they do is break you down and leave you bleeding, and judging from the video, the song is trying to say that your worst enemy is always yourself, and it will never leave you, no matter how perfect your life may seem. |
