THIS IS SO PERFECT IT IS CRAZY! P!nk has once again created a song that speaks about the freaking twisted pop culture we have. All of these people that think they are all that and more are doing pretty stupid things. You get the picture, usually really sexual stuff. This song is speaking to all of the girls who don't just do what "EVERYONE is doing!", but actually are strong enough to stand on their own and be a unique person that isn't obsessed with their looks and want to contribute to society. This is for the tomboys, nerds, outcasts, rejects, and loners that don't fall to peer pressure. Power to ya! As a tomboy and nerd myself, I have dealt with being the person in the corner that is always in their head, and it has made me strong. I can overcome social drama. If you are a female in general, you need to listen to the message of this song. The world puts pressure on women to be perfect. We are only human, guys! Stay strong, think hard, live life! :D |

| It's saying that we as humans tend to set expectations to high for ourselves. We all have "demons inside". We all have troubles. We all battle ourselves sometimes. We are all imperfect. We are all human, and that is enough. :) The song sounds sad, but the message is somewhat positive: embrace your qualities and imperfections, because it makes us who we are. We try to shield others from our dark side, which is fine, but we just need to know that we DO have a darker side. It's woven in our soul, because we are imperfect humans. | |
