Whoa there, Devil. Secure the hate against the Army, rah? Usually it's an Army medivac helo that comes and gets our wounded Belleau Woodsmen. Besides, the claim that this is mostly for the Marines and not the Army is pretty absurd since the the 9-line in the song uses Army callsigns, they have fans in all branches, and their message applies to war in general and the political purpose it serves, so why would they discriminate amongst the branches? |

As near as I can tell, the nine-line transmission is as follows: "Monocat Dustoff, Monocat Dustoff, this is Raven 3-2, I have a nine-line medivac request, over." "Raven 3-2, Monocat Dustoff, send your nine-line, over." "Roger, Line 1: Mike Bravo 8790 4674, break, line 2: 87.975, Raven 3-2, break, over." Dunno what kind of callsign "Monocat" is, but the Army has weird callsigns like that (to a Marine's perspective, anyway), they have "break" in all the wrong places, and the third line of the nine-line should have gone with the first two because those first three lines are the three most important and the ones that they absolutely have to have to get the bird airborne and en route. It should be: Line 1: Mike Bravo 8790, BREAK, 4674 Line 2: 87.975, Raven 3-2 Line 3: number of casualties by precedence, BREAK. No need to say break and then say over right after it. Just in case anyone cared about the radio transmission in the background as much as I do, it's my favorite part of the song. Wicked kickass song on the whole, though! |

| Blink-182 – Enthused Lyrics | 12 years ago |

I feel like this song is talking about a guy who likes a girl but they're just friends, and that's all she wants to be. That's why she "doesn't care at all" about "those times we never shared at all," which they could have if they got together. The last verse says that he'll keep being her friend and being there for her even though he has to pretend to be enthused because just being her friend is not what he wants. At least that's what it says to me. Maybe because I'm in this situation. Music has a funny way of speaking to our current situations |

| It sounds like the Wild Geese to me, because of the second verse talking about "someone else's war" | |
