First off, I love this song! The meaning of the song is fairly obvious. The song is about new dance instructor working with his new client after her previous instructor left her for a more promising dancer. She was devastated when her previous instructor left since they had built a strong emotional bond. As a result, she lost her motivation and stopped dancing. The new instructor has an uphill battle as he tries his best to instill the courage and fire she once had in the hopes she would win the upcoming state championships. They spend countless hours in their dance studio practicing and perfecting their routine for the big day. |
