Thank you for this, I've been searching for months to figure this song (and what thom wrote) out and figure out exactly what it means in terms of my personal life and you got it so unbelievably right, this is the first time I've fully understood the song and understood it in terms of my life. Your explanation is so spot on. I know music is subjective and everyone will take away something different from a song like this but I believe you managed to get to the absolute heart of what this song is trying to express, and this has to be one of the hardest to decipher songs I've ever listened to. I would give you 10 upvotes if I could. |

Can we get the lyrics changed to this? So annoying reading all the lyrics for this song and they all have "door" instead of lord....a fucking door isn't talking to him trying to convince him to not commit suicide.... |
