The song pays homage to the Canadian pilots/sailors who gave their lives in "The Battle Of The Pacific" during WWII, but it's about one soldier who realizes that he probably isn't going to make it back to Canada alive, after months of seeing his comrades getting gunned down, he eventually gets killed, his final thoughts were of his lover. This song is definitely one of Billy Talent's most beautiful songs. |

This song is about a relationship where the guy is crazy for a girl who pretends to care, but she doesn't, despite the fact that this guy is crazy for the girl. After this going for a while, the guy starts to catch on, and ultimately decides to end the relationship, even though he is still in love with this girl. This song means a lot to me, and I think lot's of guys who aren't total jerks (such as myself) can relate to this song.
