To the contrary, if you want to interpret this song through the scope of religion, he is not angry at god, he has just realized that there is no god. Humans created religion for several reasons, and one of those reasons is control (i just made you up to hurt myself). I definitely recognize this isn't the forum for a religion debate, so lets not go there, but this song makes perfect sense when you interpret "ME" as humanity and "YOU" as religion, and a "scab" as damage caused by religion. Everything else fits my interpretation, and it makes more sense than yours.... I think |
