From Chris Hannah's own qoutes now that this is 2012, he admited that he was down, and it all stemmed from the complitation Rock Against Bush complitation, where they were asked by Fat Mike to provide a new political song, which instead they provided an old song with a new title and were "butt-hurt" when it wasnt used. So the first jab was their song "Rock for sustainable capitalism: these lyrics--" Just Do Exactly What You're Told. One million douche bags can't be wrong? "When did punk rock become so safe?" You'll excuse me if I laugh in your face as I itemize your receipts and PowerPoint your balance sheets. I hear this year's Vans Warped Tour is "going green!" I guess they heard that money grows on trees. Hope they ship all those shitty bands overseas like they did the factories." Which was a scathing punch at them. In regards to Warped tour is going green? Was mutual friend bands being thrown off warped tour for not getting along like "Guttermouth for instance" Than taking from Seperation of Church and Skate out of context the lyrics when did punk rock become so safe? When Chris Hannah is referring to them as hypocrites making more money, and a mockery of Nofx for their stances on religion and telling other bands how to act. The irony is that Propaghandi was signed with epitaph and fat wreckchords. They didn't take the deal seriouslly at all. Even complaining about the cover art because they weren't prepared for when the EP How to clean everything was released. They are an "anti-band" What I mean is anti-religion, anti-meat, anti-everything basically. But just as most bitter athiests, they think they are smarter and know more about the music industry and a gentle jab when the music business failing it was bad timing. One Celled Creature is awesome because that is exactly where Chris Hannah was, on a mattress in a room depressed. Also see Marxist Brothers which is making fun of Propagandhi as well. Whos having more fun and success? Nofx. Propagandhi and Nofx both recently released albums, but when Chris Hannah was being a bitch. Nofx were signing new bands, touring the world, making splits, ep's and touring. Chris Hannah Challenged Cokie the Clown to a boxing match. Which was Fat Mikes alter ego and was an EP released around the time of War on Errorism. Chris was vain enough to think they were still mocking him. In reality it was an act and an outlet for Mike who recently had gotten divoriced to his long time wife Erin. And He pulled a stunt in Texas pissing in tequila bottle and serving the shots to the crowd. Nofx were investigated. And if you watch the video, the bottles were switched. But the performance was great, I mean as a fan. But for someone going to see a nofx show they might have been dissappointed. He told some horrible stories and ruining the vibe so to speak. To me thats magic, its getting a reaction. He spoke of assisted suicide to help his mother smothering her with a pillow. Drinking a White russian after tying up a woman who recently gave birth and milked her like a cow. He sang some songs acoustically, La Pieta was about his mom and really is a good song explaining how he helped his mom die. Ok im about done here, long story short, Propagandhi are back up and touring and Fat Mike hasnt looked back since maybe 2007. |

| the only things I saw that were missed was Bullet was a misfits EP (im assuming that's what he was referring to. E-13 was a punk band from the north west, Misfits coffin set is basically a discography for the misfits when Danzig was the lead singer. All sorts of different cuts from evilive, and all the EP's. Also labeling the slip covers was when he created Fat Wreck chords and him and Erin still co-own it, if they didn't draw that up with the lawyers she would gain control of the company. Or liquidate whatever "half" would be according to the laws in CA. | |
