I don't think shes actually dead, I think the video is more of a "what-if" kinda thing... What if he had let his issues get in the way of a relationship with his mother and she were to pass away, how horrible and guilty would he feel? Throughout the video, you can see little scenes of them together at various ages in Justin's life... as a baby in a crib, her giving him a bath... her presumably punishing him for something, him passed out on the floor... At the end of the video, you can clearly see them having tea together at present day at her house. A quick google search reveals that shes Vice President of Business Development at a title company in Houston Texas, where Justin is from. I very much doubt shes dead. |

This song just breaks my heart. It reminds me of someone I used to love, she told me this song was how I made her feel. I can't listen to this song without getting heartache. |

Sorry, you're wrong. It's Dan's song, but it was not on the Mike Felumlee split album. It was on the "Good Mourning" demos bootleg, and it was played live a few times but never made it onto any studio album. |
