I asked Silverstein about this song and Paul Koehler (drummer) said, "the lyrics were written by Shane and depict a the true story of the loss of his cousin. most of the words are literal references to that time in his life and dealing with the pain." Shane in this is referring to Shane Told - lead singer. Super awesome band. I am so pleased to have a band that cares enough that they would take the time to share the meaning of their music. I am now sharing it with you. |
