I like to get really philisophical with songs. " i'm waking up"- was knocked out and captured by an opposing force. forced to work in a mine mining for radioactive substances for communistic nuclear arms. "i feel it in my bones"- radiation poisoning. "welcome to the new age"- the nuclear age. "paint it red to fit right in" so he doesn't get taken to a place that is basically like a concentration camp run by communists. when he says "enough to make my systems blow" he is talking about getting gassed in the gassing room in the camp. in the intro he refers to chemicals and rust, from the mine. "checking out of the prison bus" referring to him entering the camp for the first time. if you can think of all of this happening n the camp, forced to go to camp for being rebelious, work until you too are communistic. "this is it the apocalypse" refers to these opposers have neclear arms, compared to everyone else. "its a revelution i suppose" he's a rebel. |
