it's about a relationship in which she loves someone more then they love her. and she's so in love with the person she would change everything just to get them to love her back. /You wait for a silence I wait for a word/ The other person isn't making an effort to carry on the conversation and talk. She wants to but doesn't want to start the conversation because she doesn't want to say something wrong, so she just lies their and waits for them to say something. /Only it's too hard to ask, Won't you try to help me/ even though she wants to talk to him about how she feels she doesn't because it's too hard and she's scared of his reaction. /I try out a smile and I aim it at you You must have missed it You always do/ she feels like everything she does for him goes un noticed. like no matter what she does he'll never look and her or notice her. basically she feels lonely and ignored in her relationship but loves him so much she would change everything for him to love her. it's really sad, it seems like she's maybe in an emotionally abusive relationship she can't bring herself to get out of since she loves him too much. |

This song reminds me of my girlfriend so much <3 I always play it when we're together (good thing we have the same taste in music X'D) "I know you've suffered But I don't want you to hide" She's had quite alot of awful shit happen to her, alot of her close family members died recently (her farther, uncle and grndfarther being the ones she was closest too) not to mention she was constantly bullied and a social outcast until last year :c. i really want her not to hide anymore, sometimes she distances herself from people from fear of rejection, i hate watching her that upset. "I want to reconcile the violence in your heart I want to recognize your beauty is not just a mask" When she was in depression she was quite violent and got into quite a few fights, i want to help her get over that and reconize that she is no longer like that. |

I think it's about two friends, one night they start to see each other in a differant light. "Time together is just never quite enough" hinting that maybe they don't get to see each other as ofturn as they like, I'm quite sure a lot of people can relate since time with your lover never seems enough.. "When you and I are alone,I've never felt so at home" He feels relaxed and at home around her, more then he would with others. "What will it take to make or break this hint of love?"Saying will they be able to move forward and begin a relationship or if it will ruin their friendship. "When we're apart whatever are you thinking of?" wanting to be able to read the other persons mind. "If this is what I call home,Why does it feel so alone?" this says that they feel lonely whenever he's without her. "Do you wish we'd fall in love?"asking if he would also like to fall in love with her. "All the time, all the time" saying they do, because they in fact love each other. On a more personal note this song really remind me of my girlfriend. I thought she was cute and admired her from afar at first so whena mutal friend introduced us I was delighted to finally become her "friend" we got really close in the space of a few weeks and I began to develop feelings for her. Anyway our friends began dating, and we went to town with them one day. They had been nagging us for weeks about how we should "go out" I kept refusing to of course and so did she. One day they finally corned us into answering and i confessed.I expected to get rejected on the spot but it turns out it was mutal all along ><. "Time together is just never quite enough" Really relates to us as my parents are quite strict and rarely let me out the house, so I don't get to see her as much as i would like. "When we're apart whatever are you thinking of?"also relates alot. |
