| Macklemore – Ten Thousand Hours Lyrics | 13 years ago |

Another lyrical masterprice that Macklemore released. He displays again his excellent knowledge of the world and his awareness of how our world is like these days. In this song I personally interpreted of how Macklemore is talking about the cycle that he went through, diversity, and struggles throughout the start of his music career and he again in this song talks about how his goal has changed throughout the career |

Macklemore is one the very few Socially aware rappers he understands that how much influence rappers can have on people these days. He cleverly raps about Homophobia and how he supports gay marriages. He starts out the rap with a strong first stanza When I was in the third grade I thought that I was gay 'Cause I could draw, my uncle was And I kept my room straight Not only did he recognize the fact that there were pretty unreasonable stereotypes about people who like each other in the same sex but that stereotypes are already invading the brains of the new generations at a very young age and how it's influencing our society. |
