| From the very first time I heard this song, I've had only one interpretation of it. It is about the death of a loved one. It seems to be the narrators life partner, that has passed. It always reminds me of high school sweethearts at an old age, and when one dies, the other is soon to follow. It is a very bittersweet song, filled with an entire life of love,and the pain one will go through, all in only 4 lines. I think that losing someone you have spent almost your entire life in love with, has got to be one of the worst pains imaginable. | |
