This song is actually a song for Taylor's ex , Harry Styles from One Direction.
Its obvious from the line...I guess you're in New York today...that line was the time when Harry went to New York for the filming of Gotta Be You. Emily Ostilly was the girl he drove home who was also in that video and the one who maked up with him. Harry kissed her on the cheek being the gentleman that he is, but she suddenly maked out with him. He even honestly admit he didn't like the way she kissed him. When Harry started explaining to Taylor not to believe what she will see in the internet about him, she was heartbroken for she saw it when she typed his name. The picture the paparazzies took of Harry and Emily kissing. Then the other line of that song...I guess your in London today...that line was when Harry finally came back to London. This is really a sad heartfelt song, Taylor really wanted him to come back, he was her inspiration in this song. They dated back in April 2012, Harry was hinted at making it official with her but then, this happened just when he's about to go back to Taylor. The other lyrics...right One last kiss then catch your flight, right when I was just about to fall..that was the time when Taylor really fall for him and didn't care about what anyone said about Harry, she just had her love goggles on. |
