I feel the song writer is fulfilling his desires, but at a high cost.He talks abouts how he feels empty after he does what he does.I feel that what he is doing that is not fulfilling is sinning. He doesn't want to believe in God because that means he must repent and admit to his wrong doing. So, he chooses to keep telling himself that what he does isn't wrong, but he knows that wont fix his messed up life. |
