Haunting and such a perfect example of the genius of Thom Yorke. A man survives a plane crash and feels his fortune has changed but there is something, as is always the case with Yorke, oddly manic about the grandiosity of the man's perspective.. Yorke called the song upbeat but that feels very tongue in cheek to me and far too obvious knowing his potential for irony and seeing gray area and detail.. |
