I agree with this interpretation with this interpretation, I personally thought, it might be the Aurora borealis, what he is seeing. The last line "Such den gleißend Himmelsschein" gives a hint in that direction, I think, also he can't find, because it's raining, so the clouds cover the lights, if there are any. |
