| Say Anything – A Look (feat. Stacy King & Bob Nanna) Lyrics | 11 years ago |
| I haven't read into this song that much but I think it might be about the relationship of Max & Sherri and how they have helped each other to "kill" each others demons/"evil twin". | |
| Say Anything – A Boston Peace Lyrics | 11 years ago |
| A song that I think really captures that almost manic state you're in when you're falling for someone and you know it's stupid and wrong that you're suddenly spending all your thoughts and life on this one person that might not even feel the same for you. | |
| Say Anything – Most Beautiful Plague Lyrics | 12 years ago |
|
I don't think "she" is the main importancy of this song, I think it's the feeling of complete hopelessness and despair that is (that she partly causes). When there absolutely is nothing more you can do, when everything's fallen apart. "So let the purple sky explode. Let it shower us with toads. Let the scarlet river flood, So it can drown us all in blood." I feel like the chorus is made up from different objects and colours and shit you feel when you're so depressed you almost go a bit insane. It could also be about drugs, maybe, but I don't think so. The end I think is about how sex really can be an only option when you're well, so broken that you can barely even rhyme. When you feel absolutely nothing but want to feel something so badly, you go for sex. This song is fantastic and capture a certain state of mood so well. |

| Katy Perry – Hot N Cold Lyrics | 12 years ago |
| I have no idea if Katy was dating Russell Brand at the time this song got out, or if she even wrote it herself, but anyways... Russell has bipolar disorder so this song fits pretty good on their relationship. | |

| How is older music different from this song, lyrically? | |
| Say Anything – Cemetery Lyrics | 12 years ago |
|
"There's a cemetery deep below the sea There is spaces reserved for fools like me" Sounds to me like it's about his bipolar disorder. The cemetery deep below the sea is depression and he "has a reserved space" there because of his disorder that will always drag him down there no matter what. "Falling asleep, asleep at the wheel As I approach that cliff I'm starting to feel If you can wake me up, with only a touch" Going into a manic phase. Losing your mind. Wishing Sherri could wake him up. Being bipolar, this song really speaks to me on those two parts. |

| Nirvana – Heart-Shaped Box Lyrics | 12 years ago |
|
"She eyes me like a Pisces when I am weak I've been locked inside your heart-shaped box for weeks I've been drawn into your magnet tar pit trap I wish I could eat your cancer when you turn black" To me, it sounds like he's talking about being bipolar. "She" is the disorder and being locked inside the heart-shaped box refers to being in a manic state. Then when the disorder turns black into depression, he just wish he could eat it up because well, it sucks. I don't know. Being bipolar, this speaks to me. |

| Fenix TX – Apple Pie Cowboy Toothpaste Lyrics | 12 years ago |
| Does anyone know what the song title's about? | |
| Sayanything – Colorblind Lyrics | 12 years ago |
| Definitely about bipolar disorder. It fits right in. How he knows that even though he feels happy, the sadness and dark will come back. | |
| Say Anything – The Stephen Hawking Lyrics | 13 years ago |
| Does anyone know why the song is named The Stephen Hawking? | |
| Blink-182 – Stockholm Syndrome Lyrics | 13 years ago |
|
I really relate this song to anxiety and panic disorders. I think anyone with paranoiac, bizarre, weird or strange thoughts and feelings can relate to this song. It perfectly describes how I feel like when I'm having a panic attack - both lyrically and musically. The strongest line, to me, is "and I dread the moment when you finally come to kill me", because it just describes having panic disorder so well. The "you" is referring to the panic disorder, because you really think dread it's gonna kill you. |

| Good Charlotte – Wondering Lyrics | 13 years ago |
|
"It's about Benji's dog". BULLSHIT. I'm never gonna believe that. I think the song is about drugs. A funny, sarcastic song about drugs. Of course they can't say it's a song about drugs since that would give the band bad media and stuff. "Cause everybody Needs someone that they can trust in And you're somebody That I found just in time" It's so obvious. |

| Good Charlotte – S.O.S. Lyrics | 13 years ago |

It's obviously about panic disorder. I never really got this until I actually started having panic attacks myself. It describes it perfectly. Feeling like you're dying tonight, scared as hell, alone and out of your mind, feeling like you're going crazy. |
